Will somebody define ‘liberal’ for Forbes?

The magazine’s list of its estimated 25 most influential liberals includes:

· James Fallows (a neo-centrist)
· Thomas Friedman (ditto);
· Fareed Zakaria (ditto);
· Fred Hiatt (“liberal hawk” is too generous);
· Glenn Greenwald (libertarian, at bottom line);
· Andrew Sullivan (libertarian conservative);
· Maureen Dowd (apolitical self-fluffer);
· Chris Matthews (ditto).

That’s a full one-third Forbes got completely wrong.
