Not so fast on nanotech hype
Turns out those worried about the flip side of nanotech, how particles of such small size could influence human health, above all, have worries confirmed, with what looks like a pretty sound study on how nanoparticles — which are used to deliver some inhaled medicine dosages — can cause lung damage. Nanoparticles can enter skin
And with more and more skin products, such as suntan lotions, using nano-sized particulates of their active ingredients such as titanium dioxide, this certainly needs additional study .
