Too bad it’s only going on sale in Europe.
Why? Ford doesn’t think it can sway Americans to buy diesels, for one thing, although a new gas-powered version of the Fiesta, made in Mexico, will go on sale in the U.S.
And yet Ford wants Washington to INCREASE federal loans to it and other members of the formerly-Big Three from $25 to $50 billion — and JUST the Big Three. And Obama’s down with that.
Meanwhile, Honda’s new Prius-knockoff Insight 2.0 will be sold here in the U.S. of A.
