A skeptical leftist's, or post-capitalist's, or eco-socialist's blog, including skepticism about leftism (and related things under other labels), but even more about other issues of politics. Free of duopoly and minor party ties. Also, a skeptical look at Gnu Atheism, religion, social sciences, more.
Note: Labels can help describe people but should never be used to pin them to an anthill.

I'm surprised they didn't chase down Greinke. Carpenter is only an immediate bandaid for the Yanks. They are aging at key positions with no real young guns waiting in the wings to take over. The dynasty is aging into mediocrity.
Well, some people mentioned Greinke's social anxiety issues and how that would play out in the Bronx, while others said that wouldn't be a big deal. Maybe NY made a run at him, but was real cheap.
Yanks? A-Rod will continue to slip. Tex hasn't shows to be a big-game player. They're hurting enough at catcher to sign Russell Martin even while knowing he needed knee surgery. Pitching is iffy in most starter's slots.
Yep....
