A skeptical leftist's, or post-capitalist's, or eco-socialist's blog, including skepticism about leftism (and related things under other labels), but even more about other issues of politics. Free of duopoly and minor party ties. Also, a skeptical look at Gnu Atheism, religion, social sciences, more.

Neo-cons must be running scared of Ron Paul
In National Review, AEI scholar Michael Ledeen fires a shotgun blast at Paul, including the old canard that anti-Zionism equates to anti-Semitism. With lies like that, neoconservatives have nobody to blame but themselves.

That article is dated 1993. I assume we'll be seeing another soon though.
Because i haven't read the books in question, it's hard to comment. But it sounds like the author is insisting he didn't mean what he wrote, and/ot it is Dr Paul's fault for not understanding what he meant.
Ledeen is an extreme authoritarian personality, the scariest type to have in positions of power. This piecei s dated 2003, though, it's not recent.
But I like how Ledeen threatens to sue Paul over...what? Saying that "the ends justify the means" comes from Machiavelli? Hardly actionable and obviously true. WTF?
