Venezuelan assets unfrozen as ExxonMobil loses legal round

London’s High Court has suspended a plan to freeze $12 billion of Venezuelan assets. ExxonMobile is seeking $12 billion in compensation from PDVSA, the Venezuelan national oil company, after its interests were nationalized by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez last year.
