A skeptical leftist's, or post-capitalist's, or eco-socialist's blog, including skepticism about leftism (and related things under other labels), but even more about other issues of politics. Free of duopoly and minor party ties. Also, a skeptical look at Gnu Atheism, religion, social sciences, more.
Note: Labels can help describe people but should never be used to pin them to an anthill.

It’s the return of the Honda Insight!
Chevy Volt and Rick Wagoner, prepare for an even bigger ass-kicking at $18K
Honda is officially unveiling its new, quite Prius-like hybrid at the Paris Auto Show next month.
I actually think the front end looks snazzier than the Prius, to be honest.
That said, what is NOT Prius-like is the low price.
Insight 2.0 is expected to have a base price of just $18,500, well below Toyota.
Wow. (Honda says its Integrated Motor Assist hybrid technology is what has allowed the price savings.)
As for the “Prius” look, the new Insight is actually based on Honda’s own FCX Clarity. And, it trumps Prius in another way; Honda will offer both two-door and four-door models.
GM, you can tout your plug-in Volt all you want. I’m going to assume you can’t price it less than $30K, though, and you’re going to get your corporate ass handed to you in CEO Rick Wagoner’s still-deluded hat.
