First CO2 satellite going into orbit

About half the carbon dioxide produced by burning fossil fuels is currently unaccounted for. Orbiting Carbon Observatory, NASA’s first satellite dedicated to CO2 tracking, should change all that.

Ooops on that satellite, though!

It’s now sitting at the bottom of the ocean.
